Mr. John Richard Chatteris was the founding director of Atsumi Healing. He worked within the natural therapy and personal/spiritual development arena for over 25 years. In Australia he co-founded and co-directed the Shiatsu College of South Australia. Mr. John was an accomplished counsellor, natural health practitioner, NLP Master, published author, teacher and musician, who loved to share his passions and talents with others.

Mr. John had a vision about a place that offered spiritual and personal development, health and wellbeing and a chance to move away from emotional suffering and towards the ‘Enlightened State of Being’. That vision became a reality when he opened the doors of Atsumi Healing Centre in 2002 and began inviting people from all walks of life to come together and cleanse and detoxify their Body, Mind and Spirit.

Thousands of people have been helped by and inspired by John’s knowledge of alternative therapies, his unquestionable passion, endless wisdom and ‘Universal Love’ approach to each and every individual. He continues to touch the lives of all those who come to Atsumi Healing.

Mr. John left his physical body on 18 July, 2007 but his knowledge and vision lives on in the philosophy of Atsumi Healing and through the passion and dedication of the love of his life Khun Anna, who has embraced the principles of Atsumi. Mr. John was also an accomplished author.
