Phuket Big Buddha, a 45 meter tall white marble statue, is visible from anywhere in the southern part of Phuket. The views from up there are breathtaking. When reaching the top of the hill you will find a large parking and a road leading to a construction where people can donate, buy amulets and where occasional ceremonies are held. This place also serves as a museum narrating the history of the Big Buddha. You’ll have to walk through this building to access the stairs climbing to the Big Buddha. A weekly trip to Big Buddha is included in your schedule every Wednesday at 12pm

Wat Chalong, or Chalong Temple, built at the beginning on 19th century, is the largest and most visited Buddhist temple in Phuket. Its real name is Wat Chaitararam, The most recent building on the grounds of Wat Chalong is a 60 meters tall ‘Chedi’ sheltering a splinter of bone from Buddha. Walls and ceilings are decorated with beautiful painting illustrating the life of Buddha, as well as many donated golden statues.

Old Phuket Town has applied to become a UNESCO heritage site, following a large restoration and improvement plan in Thalang Road. Thalang road, the historical heart of Old Phuket Town, has saved most of its old Sino Portuguese houses and is now the best known street in town.  With many small cafes, bakeries and  trendy eateries along the way… to look at ;) it is perfect for a half day. Also visit  the local markets near the bus station and explore the tiny streets here and there to discover some incredible abandoned mansions. Not to be missed is the new Phuket Walking Street on Sunday

There are a few shows to see in Phuket but Simon Cabaret is the one most of our guests have preferred. It’s a Las Vegas kind of show, but of a totally different nature. The stage in Patong beach is magnificent, the sets and costumes are glittering and colourful, but what people really came to see are the amazingly beautiful “ladyboys”! Perfect bodies with beautiful faces, most of them would fool you!

Promthep Cape at the southernmost point of Phuket island is a great spot to watch the sunset and take a good old-fashioned sunset photo. This landmark is the meeting point for many tourists, mostly Thai, to line up on the west facing coastline with cameras ready. With its elevated location and few small islands nearby, the Promthep Cape is the pefect place to see a sunset. 2 weekly trips to watch the sunset are included in your program.

Central Festival Phuket is an air-conditioned, fully equipped one-stop shopping mall lying just outside of Phuket Town. Regarded as the shopping hub of the island, Central plays host to over 120 outlets selling a wide range of products. It's literally possible to spend a full day here - shopping, catching the latest movies or getting  facial or haircut!

Every Friday and Saturday afternoon carrying on into late evening is the Weekend Market held in Phuket town. Here you can purchase everything from Thai handicrafts to clothing, bags, souvenirs, jewellery, cosmetics, perfumes and much more. A Saturday evening trip to this market is included in the program at 6.15pm

Phuket has some of the most magnificent beaches in the whole of Thailand, with white sands and crystal clear waters, Private boat trips can be arrange by Atsumi or group tours which include snorkelling in the ocean. Daily trips to the stunning Nai Harn beach are included in  6the program from 12.00pm to 2.00pm

One of the most popular spectator sports in Thailand, and now gaining world renown, is the martial art of Muay Thai. Exciting enough on TV - the furious punches, crushing elbow strikes, lethal kicks and artful feints are even more riveting when seen live. Witness the passion and drama of Thailand's national sport amidst crowds of onlookers whose cheers blend with the strains of high-pitched Javanese clarinets, drums and finger cymbals that accompany the fights from beginning to end.  There are many local stadiums in Phuket as well as the famous Bangla stadium Patong so there’s fight on nearly every day of the week.if you don't mind the violence, a Thai boxing match is worth attending for the pure spectacle and the wild musical accompaniment, the ceremonial beginning of each match, and the frenzied betting around the stadium.

The elephant is one of the most treasured animals in Thailand, soon a sanctuary will be opening in Phuket to help nurture the animals that need care and rehabilitation. All profits will go into helping the elephants, they are not in any way being contained for tourist entertainment, this is a passion project.
